With the support of the EU Delegation in the Republic of Macedonia, the Department for National Qualifications Framework and the IPA Structure at the Ministry of Education and Science launched promotional events for the use of the established National Qualifications Framework.
The first event was held on February 14, 2019, in the premises of the EU Delegation. The target group for this event covered principals and teachers from secondary schools (gymnasiums and vocational schools).
Ms. Ivana Popovska, IPA Coordinator, emphasized the importance of the National Qualifications Framework for the vision and reforms that have inspired them in the education system and lifelong learning.
The provision of quality in the complex system of qualifications was the topic of the presentation by Ms. Natasha Janevska, coordinator of the National Qualifications Framework. She emphasized that in the process of acquiring qualifications, criteria, standards and procedures were established and the approach of learning outcomes, criteria for evaluation of learning outcomes and the credit system were introduced. This process justifies the acquired qualifications and fulfills the requirements of the Advisory Group on the European Qualifications Framework in the European Commission.
MA Zoran Jovceski, advisor from the Center for Vocational Education and Training, talked about the Qualification Standard, which is the basis for developing an educational program and for the credit system in vocational education and training as a tool for accumulating credits and mobility.
