In December two Activities were successfully implemented: the technical proposal of the Communication Strategy and awareness-raising plan was finalized and presented and discussed with the relevant stakeholders from VET and HE institutions, MoES Public Relations and Media department, and the NQF Board.

The first mission of the Activity related to the drafting of the Road map for further development and implementation of the National Qualifications Framework. In close collaboration with the BC experts from the MoES, NQF Board, National Council for Studies and Research Activity, VET Centre, Bureau for the development of Education, Adult Education Centre, Accreditation Board, and Euridice office the first draft of the Road map was prepared. Also, experts from France, Lithuania, and Slovenia shared their experiences on the process of writing, structuring, and content of the Referencing report that will be developed during the upcoming missions.

To mark the midway point of the project, the 5th Steering Committee Meeting was held on the 14th of December. The BC PL, Mr. Aleksov, welcomed all on behalf of the BC and highlighted the most important results achieved so far, e.g., the development of the Manual for QA for practitioners in HE and VET, and the NQF`s communications strategy. Representatives from the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of North Macedonia, the Contracting Authority, and the project management team discussed the progress of the project and how to implement the results achieved. Invited guests from the National Agency for European programs and mobility gave a presentation “Towards equity and inclusion in higher education in Europe”.
