On 23 and 24 November 2016 in Brussels, Kingdom of Belgium, Natasha Janevska, State Advisor, Aspasija Hadzisce, advisor and Borcho Aleksov, Assistant Head of Higher Education and a member of the Advisory Group of the European Qualifications Framework, participated as panelists in a conference titled “Getting organized for better qualifications,” organized by the European Training Foundation (ETF).
The inspiration behind the conference is based on a recent study on the progress in the implementation of national qualifications frameworks and the difficulties faced by countries following this path. In order to provide conditions for better qualifications of citizens, the European Training Foundation (ETF) organized a meeting for all partners from different countries to discuss possibilities for speeding up this process by focusing on four main activities: legislation, involvement of partners, role and function of competent authorities and also ensuring the quality of qualifications.
The representative of the Ministry of Education, Borcho Aleksov was invited as a speaker at the workshop dedicated to legislation or regulations on the National Qualifications Framework, by which once again the European Training Foundation (ETF) had honored the Republic of Macedonia as a country which has been dedicated to implementing the Macedonian Qualifications Framework.
